Organizations are divided into different levels of specialties. Their structures reveal a clear cut division of labor. Authority in a business is organized as a hierarchy of rising power and responsibility.
NESPAK has assigned grades to employees, ranging from 1 to 12. The first three grades i.e. 1 to 3 are for clerks performing duties as security guards and peons. The ones who fall in the 4-7 grades include unionized staff, performing semi-technical tasks such as data entry, also known Para-professionals. They help the upper level of employees with day to day work so that efficiency increases as they give them all the information they need to give a high-quality results. The 8-12 grade employees include the senior management such as the Chairman, GMs, vice president etc who decide the project, plan it and then make it happen. Therefore they are known as Professionals.
